Deepika Padukone recently performed some of the most daredevil stunts for Lafange Parindey directed by Pradeep Sarkar but escaped unhurt. She plays a tomboy and will be seen wearing leather jackets and riding bikes, jumping over walls and doing spins and somersaults. In fact, Deepika’s co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh is finding it hard to match up to her enthusiasm level. However, things went a little too far at Yash Raj Studios last week. While striding across the road with Neil, Deepika was supposed to fall into a deep and wide muddy pit. Neil’s protective instincts became evident when he told her not to perform the dangerous stunt and a bodydouble was arranged to fall into the deep hole. However, Deepika insisted on doing the stunt herself.

A source says, “Everyone in the unit thought it was too dangerous because Deepika had to walk straight into the pit and fall into the swirling muddy water. Once she fell in the pit only professional divers could help her come out. That’s how deep the hole in the ground was.” Once the camera started rolling, Deepika fell into the pit, pretending it was an accident, and went right to the bottom. Her expertise as a swimmer helped her to hold her breath underwater as divers rushed in to get her out.

Deepika confirmed the incident. “Yes, I did jump into the pit and I had to make it look like an accident so that the scene looked convincing. I had to do whatever it took,” she said.

Actor Hrithik Roshan has acted with almost all the popular names in Bollywood but not with Katrina Kaif, who is perhaps the top actress today. Now, this dream pair is going to adorn the cover page of Harpers Bazaar. The magazine managed to bring the duo together for the first time ever. They share incredible chemistry and the poses they strike are revealing enough. It is said that both of them were excited about the photo shoot. It was earlier reported that Katrina opted out of a film starring Ranbir Kapoor after receiving an offer to act with Hrithik in Zoya Akhtar’s next film.

The Hindi Film industry has seen many bold and beautiful heroines. But few have dared to bare or kiss in front of the camera from their vary first film. Call it shyness, or being back dated, this block has always been there in Bollywood. Though many people havn't said it aloud, but any leading lady who has stunned the camera with skin show or has not deterred from lip locking with her on screen hero has raised a brow. The one lady who tops this chart is none other than Vidya Balan. She is a powerhouse of talent, a director magnet and a great co-star; but abve all she is one who has absolutely no inhibitions. Right from the time she made her Bollywood debut in Parineeta, Vidya has taken the men by the horns.



Her very first film Parineeta saw her making out with both the heores, Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan. She might justify that it was all required for the film to blossom, but Vidya we know that there is no better way to get attention than shedding those clothes and your coyness. Lage Raho Munna Bhai also saw her doing the coochie moochie act with Sanju baba. Lucky man Sanju!!! But it was Guru that eally left us awestruck. Though Vidya was affected by Multiple Sclerosis, yet it did not deter her from smooching R. Madhavan. We are really surprised by your guts Vidya!



Even after she became quite a known face in B-Town, her kissing spree went on. Handsome John Baraham was her next man in Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love and then again it was Saif who received many breaks when he wanted to kiss his wife (on screen of course) in Eklavya: The Royal Guard. There need not be any introduction for Heyy Babyy where Akshay Kumar endlessly went on caressing Vidya's shining back. This definitely did add a lot od steam to the movie and helped it to do really well at the box office. Though Bhool Bhulaiyaa did not see the lady in her kissing avatar, she did sing a cosy number with Shiney Ahuja. We wonder why Shiney did not make an attempt... it is probably he is only interested in maids!!! Vidya did play the lead in Kismat Konnection with Shahid Kapoor but both of them stayed away from any kiss business. Probably Shahid understood that Vidya was looking like his elder sister.

But Paa came with a bang and Abhishek Bachchan romanced Vidya to finally give birth to baby Amitabh. Phew! quite a romance that was. Since Vidya became famous as an actor and also as a great kisser, Arshad too got lucky while shooting for Ishqiya where Vidya kissed and slapped him at the same time. Don't bother Arshad... its all in the game. There are quite a few films that wil see Vidya in the coming days. Chenab Gandhi, Chand Bhai and No One Killed Jessica are some that are on the floors. We wonder whom Vidya wil kiss in these films. We guess her kiss is what is the lucky mascot for her films. So keep kissing Vidya, we don't mind at all....

There is a new relationship in the offing that is making the rounds quite ferociously. Maybe none of you will believe it but the fact is that Hrithik has found love in an old friend of his. Oh no... we are not taling about Kareena Kapoor. The new found love interest of Hrithik Roshan is Shahrukh Khan. Surprised? Awestruck or dumbfounded? No matter how you react, this is the truth. No darlings, we are not cooking yp stories, this is what Hrithik himself admitted.

It took a decade for two of Bollywood’s biggest heroes to put their egos behind them and strike up a friendship based on “pure love”. When their relationship was all about competition and jealousy, the media had a field day playing up their differences. Sources say that even when Karan Johar brought them together for his film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, the two were just about cordial with each other. However, things are quite different now.

The last year and a half has seen a 180 degree turn in the equation between Shah Rukh and Hrithik, who are now best friends. Hrithik says, “We have our wives to thank for this. Gauri and Sussanne are very very close. And yes, in a way they have brought Shah Rukh and me closer.” Pondering over their now thick as blood relationship, Hrithik says, “Shah Rukh has always been extremely warm even when we were not so close. I have come to respect him for that.”



“We have become very close and have partied together so often. We have celebrated each other’s successes and also each other’s failures. Shah Rukh and I are just happy friends and we look for every little excuse to spend time with each other,” adds Hrithik. "It is nice to have people who care for you and are there for you especially in an industry where it is very easy to get entangled in ego clashes.”

Kajol, in her second pregnancy, is still working with admirable dedication. Recently, during a four-day song shoot at Filmistan for Siddharth Malhotra’s remake of Stepmom , Kajol was required to dance energetically. After all, she had to match Elvis’s gyrations in Jailhouse Rock, dressed in black trousers, white shirt and a hat. The filmmakers have bought the rights for the original, making it an interesting track to watch out for.

Kajol was extremely concerned about the side-effects of the moves on her health. A source says, “When the choreographers Bosco and Ceaser showed her the steps during rehearsal, she was apprehensive initially. She requested them to tone down the pace. The choreographers, respecting her wish, changed the sequence. But as the shoot progressed, she got into the groove. As it is one of her favourite songs in the movie, she gave in to the rhythm and the tempo of the song. By the end, she was practically doing what the choreographers had originally planned for her!”

Of course, Kajol’s enthusiasm did not mean that the unit would relax its vigilance. The source continues, “People on the sets surrounded her protectively. There was a sequence where she was supposed to dance on a piano. Kajol was dancing away to glory, but the unit took precautions and were ready to launch into action in case of any problems. The director also suggested that they do away with the piano sequence, but Kajol insisted and managed to do it in two takes.” Kajol, Kareena and Arjun Rampal were part of the song. In the film, Kajol plays Arjun’s ex-wife, while Kareena plays his girlfriend. Director Siddharth Malhotra said, “None of the actors have compromised at all on any steps in the song...seeing is believing, that’s all I can say...they’ve completely had a blast and hopefully all you guys will feel the same when you see the song.”

Katrina Kaif ~ the name reminds you of a well dressed lady with flawless skin and an English accent with wich she speaks Hindi. But if we told you that Katrina Kaif is a downtown girl wearing flashy clothes, cheap ear rings, loud make up and moving raunchily to thumping beats; would you believe us? Maybe not. But it is time you start imagining the classy Kat in the avatar of an item girl. In Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, she plays an item girl. Quite a shock isn't it? There is more to come when you actually see her making suggestive gestures and sporting all those clothes that suit Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra.

Suddenly, Katrina’s manner and speech have become loud and demonstrative even early in the morning at Malshej Ghat, where the film is currently being shot. The schedule begins at 5am every morning and the actress is giving loads of effort to look effortless in each of the item songs, being choreographed by Farah and her assistant Gita Kapur. In fact Katrina has even shopped for her character’s look, right from clothes to accessories in small shops that sell cheap stuff. Commenting on her shopping frenzy, Katrina says, “It is a challenge doing a complete look for my character. I guess I learnt that from Raajneeti. Every accessory makes you feel more like the character.”

Item numbers right from Mumtaz’s Tik tiki tik mera dil bole in Humjoli (1970) to Bipasha Basu’s Beedi jalaile in Omkara (2006), re helping her to get a more comprehensive understanding of the typical Bollywood item girl. Akshay has been teaching Katrina the art of losing one’s inhibitions while dancing on camera. Katrina says, “I’ve always wanted to freak out on camera, to just get wild. This is my chance.”

For long it has been reported that Arshad Warsi and his wife Maria Goretti have been on a war footing due to marital discord. The reasons ranged from Arshad not being able to give enough time to his family because of his work schedule to having an affair with actor Dia Mirza.

Arshad says Maria and he had to work a lot to iron out the differences and bring stability back into their relationship. “News of my rumoured relationship with Dia damaged my relationship with Maria. It was a vicious thing circulated against me. Though Maria is very understanding, gossip that I was seeing Dia, got to her. My family was threatened. I am a father of two kids (five-year-old son Zeke Warsi and three-year-old daughter Zene Zoe) and I didn’t want these things to affect them because it was not true,” Arshad says.

But why was your family threatened Arshad? Dis you anything naughty... ahem??? Well he added, “On one hand my wife was upset and on the other, Dia, a close friend of mine, was feeling bad that she was being unnecessarily drawn into this controversy. She was projected as the other woman who was trying to break my house.” However, Arshad credits the two women to helping him tide over this crisis. “Had Maria not trusted me, it would have been all over. Meanwhile, even Dia understood that some people with vested interests were playing games,” he says. Well the two women did help you to get out of your so called turbulent love triangle, but sadly enough they could not do anything to save your Hum Tum aur Ghost. We fuess you might take the help of a real ghost to see things through. Your effort to gain publicity for your film was superb Arshad. But as we all know, there is no smoke without fire.... So was everything a rumor or do we really smell something fishy?

Although her maiden acting venture “Aladdin” didn't fare well at the box office last year, former Miss Sri Lanka, Jacqueline Fernandez, definitely grabbed enough eyeballs. Her second film is all set for release next week. Jacqueline tells us about her upcoming film, what the industry has felt like thus far and she even cares to put to rest the rumours of the linkup between her and a certain co-star.

“Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (JKSAH) is a good humoured romantic flick. It's all about people looking for love and this is the kind of movie that will be liked and appreciated by all. As far as my role is concerned, I'm going to be playing an alien from Venus,” says Jacqueline. Apart from the fact she was offered an interesting role to play, the Sri Lankan beauty found it was a joy to work with debutant director Milap Zaveri. She explains: “We're both new to the industry and the best part about working with him is that we share the same enthusiasm. He's highly energetic and creative and it is fun working with such a director.” She adds: “I live in the moment, taking each day as it comes. I never expected to receive such a warm welcome from people in the industry but here I am doing what I enjoy most.”



As rumours have it, Jacqueline is supposedly dating her “Aladdin”, co-star Ritesh Deshmukh who again has been cast opposite her in “JKSAH”. However, the former beauty queen is quick to clear the air. “First off, just because I'm working with the same co-star again, it doesn't necessarily mean that we are seeing each other. Also, Ritesh wasn't the reason for me doing this film but yes, he's like the cherry on top of the cake!” Jacqueline will be seen next in a special appearance in Sajid Khan's “Housefull” which is slated to release at the end of April. This movie again will be starring Ritesh Deshmukh! We are not saying anything dear... its your films that are raising our brow!!!

Salman Khan has always been in news. When he was jailed in Tere Naam, people said that ithe role was an extension of his own persona. But Sallu defended himself calling the critics "crack heads." But now he will probably not have the luck of doing so for Ranjit Sharma is making a film titled Qaidi No 210, based on the actor's stay in jail in connection to the infamous Chinkara case.

There may not be anything new to see in such a realistic film after what Madhur Bhandarkar has already shown us in Jail. But Ranjit has his cards just right. He has found a man called Mahesh Kumar Saini, who spent three days with Salman in Jodhpur Central Jail in 1996. Sallu's jail mate has provided enough information to Ranjit about the actor. Ranjit said that he met Mahesh, a murder suspect, while researching on the subject and asked him to contact him once he is released from the jail. He added that Salman's cellmate has given details about the actor.

Mahesh is all praise for Salman, saying that he was the nicest man he has ever met and was sure that he was innocent as far as chinkara case is concerned. He is not willing to reveal whatever Salman said but he is sure that the actor did not fire that shot. He claimed that Salman was addicted to coffee and needed a cup of it every hour, and ate nothing in the cell but the chocolates his brother Sohail had given him.

Recounting the days he spent with Salman, he said that the actor ate soyabean he prepared on the second night. They managed to bring dumb bells into the cell for work out though it's not allowed. Mahesh revealed that he arranged a carrom board and a chess board for him, as he was bored. He added that the actor offered to give him Rs.20,000 as a token of his appreciation but he had asked him to find him a job instead once he is released.

We do hope that this film will show the benevolent side of Sallu. But you can never trust the cops darling. God knows what they will find this time about the robust actor???

Your fame often robs you off your most prized possessions ~ Privacy. That is what Rani Mukherjee learnt recently. Rani decided to go for shopping at Khan Market in Delhi, thinking that she might not be recognised but she almost ended up being mobbed by the public.

Rani, who is currently shooting for Rajkumar Gupta's No One Killed Jessica in Delhi, did some shopping unescorted, and without her driver, as the market is just a kilometre away from her hotel. Just as she was beginning to enjoy window-shopping, she heard some people calling out her name. To her surprise, a huge crowd had gathered around her. Sensing the danger, Rani called his driver to pick her. Luckily, she was zoomed back to her hotel before the crowd turned too big. And her secret day out was spoiled! We wonder why she thought that people would not recognise her. Though we agree that she has not been a success in the past few years, but Rani, you are still the queen of Bollywood.

Aitraaz fetched her a national award for her negative role but Yakeen went unnoticed. But this time Priyanka Chopra is all set to murder her seven husbands in her upcoming film Saat Khoon Maaf by Vishal Bharadwaj. She is set to play a serial killer who will murder all the seven men in her life. Quite a daring act Priyanka!

Her seven husbands will be played by stalwarts like Naseeruddin Shah and South biggie Mohanlal. The others will be John Abraham, Arshad Warsi , Irrfan Khan and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The seventh husband will be an American actor whose identity stays undisclosed. The film was earlier supposed to be named Ek Bataa Saath, but the name changed later. Saat Khoon Maaf will hit the floors in April and is likely to be in the theatres early 2011. The look of Priyanka will also be very different. The make-up team is from Hollywood and is the same one that created Brad Pitt’s award-winning look in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Piggy Chps does have a heart of steel for she will be murdering two of the hottest men of B-town ~ John and Neil; though only in a film!

This film will create ripples with the beauty returning in her negative garb. If you are in a state of awe to hear what Priyanka is about to do in the film, then let us tell you that even she is tense. "Preparation for Vishal sir’s film (is) in full swing…One of the toughest characters of my life…so scared…Don’t know how I’ll pull it off,” Priyanka posted on her Twitter page. Well, even if you are terrified darling, we are waiting to be surprised by your talent. Come on gal... go for the kill!!!

Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan, who is awaiting the release of his first production venture Paathshaala, says Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor are better dancers than Hrithik Roshan, known for his flexible and smooth moves. "Shahid is the best dancer in Bollywood these days, followed by Ranbir. They have the technical sense of dancing and are very spontaneous with their steps. Hrithik's style is very typical," said Khan, whose movie Paathshaala starring Shahid and Ayesha Takia, will release April 16. The movie deals with the Indian education system and contemporary and socially relevant issues regarding children.

"One can't see too much of Hrithik's dance. Just like people are a little bored of seeing Prabhu Deva's dance, the case is same with Hrithik as well," he added. Well we do know that ranbir has been choreo graphed by Khan in Rocket Singh and Ajab Prem... but what went wrong with Duggu and Ahmu so that he made such a comment? Well we will find out soon, but Hrithik are you listening?

The promotions of Kumar Taurani's Prince, starring Vivek Oberoi and directed by debutante Kookie Gulati, have started gaining momentum. The film was confirmed for release on March 26, but the makers have decided to shift the film to April. The film will arrive on April 9.

"That's true," Prince producer Kumar Taurani confirms, "Postponing the film has nothing to do with the examination period or cricket matches. The fact is that the VFX is taking time. The date (March 26) was appropriate for the film, but in view of the fact that the VFX wouldn't get completed on schedule, we have decided to bring Prince on April 9."

Meanwhile, as many as seven films are slated for release on this date (April 9): Prince, Paathshaala, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, Phoonk 2, Apartment, Mirch and Maalik Ek. Phew!

While there has been speculation over the Munna bhai sequel featuring Sanjay Dutt, the actor confirms that he will return as the lovable bhai in the third installment of the series directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

According to Dutt, Munnabhai Chale Amerika is expected to hit floors by the end of this year. "The scripting is going on. Raju (Hirani) called me up and spoke to me about it. The shooting will begin at the end of this year."

When quizzed about the delay in starting the film he said, "Munnabhai got delayed a little bit because they wanted to make another film (3 Idiots). Munnabhai will never die. It's just something beyond cinema because people have taken this film close to their hearts."

Shahid Kapoor had robbed a bank in Fida for his girlfriend; he had taken the responsibility of his burnt bride in Vivaah; Shaid was the man who brought Geet home in Jab We Met; He also did his best to save his twin in Kaminey. Shahid Kapoor has been called a responsible man in reel life. But the time has come when we can give him this tag in real life too. Shahid averted a major mishap on the sets of Badmaash Company when a chandelier crashed inches away from co-star Anushka Sharma.

Chandeliers have been a regular prop in Bollywood. People have periodically swung off them or the really ornate ones are used as embellishments to add to the already opulent décor. Anushka Sharma will always remember the prop with a shudder. On Sunday evening, Anushkha, who was shooting a music video for Parmeet Sethi’s Badmaash Company, escaped a chandelier catastrophe at MT Studio in Andheri (East).

Shahid and Anushka, under the supervision of choreographer Ahmed Khan, were moving towards a pre-decided spot almost underneath a huge chandelier. To everyone’s shock, the chandelier suddenly came crashing to the ground. It would have gravely injured Anushka if it hadn’t been for Shahid’s quick reflexes - he managed to push the utterly petrified Anushka out of harm’s way.

Said choreographer Ahmed Khan, “Sasha (Shahid) didn’t push Anushka away. He pulled her towards himself just in time. Anything could have happened. I hope we finish the song without any more problems.” For her part, Anushka said, “Shahid reacted very quickly. Luckily no one was injured.” But the real-life hero played down the incident. “It was nothing major,” said Shahid.

Incidentally, this is the second time within a year that Shahid has come to his leading lady’s rescue. During the shoot of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey, Priyanka Chopra was driving a scooter with Shahid as the pillion rider when she lost her balance and fell. She could have sustained a major face injury if Shahid had not buffered the fall with his hands.

“It’s what anyone would have done, given the situation,” said Shahid, hero in a true sense.

You should consider yourself very lucky if you spot the elusive filmmaker Aditya Chopra, forget about being seen with his alleged girlfriend Rani Mukherjee. Surprisingly, he was spotted partying with Rani last Wednesday. Aditya has not admitted his relationship with Rani and the latter too has been denying having any affair with him all these years in spite of the rumours doing the rounds that they have been dating for three years. Surprisingly, they were spotted together at the birthday party of Hiroo Johar, mother of Karan Johar. Sources said that Aditya and Rani came in together before midnight for the birthday party and sat next to each other for the dinner. It added that they looked very much like a couple and mingled with other guests at the event.

After having completed the US shooting of the film ‘Anjaana Anjaanni’, the cast and the crew have flown back to India. But, the negatives of the entire shoot abroad have been left behind in San Francisco, in a film lab. Now, reveal sources, the negatives could not be brought back fast as there were no direct flights from San Francisco to Mumbai. This bit of hindrance was giving sleepless nights to the producer Sajid Nadiawala and specially the director, Sajid Khan. Reports also suggested that, the director was much tensed as there were chances of the negatives getting spoilt or even misplaced during transit.

The hard work put in by Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and the entire entourage was at stake. If all goes well and the negatives reach Mumbai, without a scratch, it’s all going to be by God’s grace. So, the director Sajid Khan has his fingers all crossed, just in case. Well, we also do hope that the negatives arrive intact, after all, it’s not everyday that we get to see a hot pair like Ranbir and Priyanka together!

Bollywood actor, John Abraham will be seen performing stunts on the Tower Bridge in new a romantic comedy based in London, 1-800-Love. The director of the film Abbas Tyrewala has brought in David Bryan to increase the international appeal of the film. Bryan who is making his debut in Bollywood has worked as the Art Director for the Oscar winning film The Hurt Locker. He was praised for replication of the battle scarred streets of Iraq in Jordan for the film which won not less than six academy awards.

Bryan was reportedly very impressed with the stunt sequence which John decided to do himself. "We wanted to portray the real London that is rarely seen, it's an amazing city with very diverse locations. In particular we were looking for a real iconic Studio Apartment for our lead actor John Abraham," he said.

The Slumdog Millionaire girl Frieda Pinto seems to be on a roll. Other than being rumored to be the next Bond babe she is working on her forthcoming projects which include, Julian Schnabel's Miral, Woody Allen's You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger and Tarsem Singh's Dawn of War. But the 007 venture is still doubtful. Actress Freida Pinto has denied that she was approached by director Sam Mendes to play the lead in his next Bond movie opposite Daniel Craig. Freida's official spokesperson in a statement said, "It is of course very flattering to even be rumoured to be part of a Bond film but she has certainly not been approached for the role of the next Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig as yet."

Well even if Pinto was approached by the director, we doubt how much justice she would be able to o to that role. Given the track record of Bond and his leading ladies, Pinto would definitely fall short of that oomph. Once we think of Ursula Andress, Daniela Bianchi, Honor Blackman, Shirley Eaton, Diana Rigg, Lana Wood, Barbara Bach, Carey Lowell, Teri Hatcher, Halle Berry, Eva Green and Olga Kurylenko, is needs no saying that Pinto has to work really hard to match up to their level.

Of course Bond is a man of taste and his taste in women is par excelence. So Frieda, buck up girl... there is a lot you need to do if you want the rumors to become true.

And Bollywood seems to be his favourite hunting ground. After dating Kim Sharma and being linked with Deepika Padukone, there was also a rumour that he was dating Vivek Oberoi's ex-girlfriend, Grace. But now he has found himself a new girlfriend, Aanchal Kumar.

You may remember Aanchal from countless catwalks and a brief appearance with Abhishek Bachchan in the title song of Bluffmaster. They’ve been an item for some time now, and cricketer Harbhajan Singh seems ready to take his relationship to the next level. A few days ago, Harbhajan even took Geeta home to meet his parents. She had been invited by the cricketer to attend a very private family function - his sister Sandeep Kaur’s wedding in Jalandhar - and the way she was welcomed by the family indicates she may become a part of it in the near future.

Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor got cosy at Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand. No, not in real life; the actors were shooting a romantic love song for Punit Malhotra's I Hate Luv Storys. Sources reveal the song has Imran romancing Sonam and getting intimate with her.

The song shows Imran in a lime green shirt caressing and romancing the beautiful and lithe Sonam. You can take a bird's eye view of what happened in the sets of the movie. Though not clear, the movements suggest who desperately Imran is trying to woo Sonam. She is one lucky girl; always surrounded by handsome hunks!



Punit recently wrapped up the shoot of the film in Mumbai and is now busy with postproduction work. An all-out romantic drama, the film has Imran Khan paired opposite Bruna Abdallah and Sonam opposite Sammir Dattani.

Filmmaker Karan Johar will start shooting the sequel to Dostana, a light-hearted tale about three friends, this summer with actors Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham once again in the lead.

"Dostana 2 starts filming this summer. The final cast will be announced (by the) end of the month...of course flagbearers AB (Abhishek) and John lead the way," Karan, who produced the first movie in 2008, posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The filmmaker, whose last release was Shah Rukh Khan-starrer My Name Is Khan, says preparations are in full swing for the forthcoming movies under his banner Dharma Productions.

What did not happen in Fida, happened in Jab We Met and there are hopes that it will be repeated in Milenge Milenge. Yes, we are talking about the on screen chemistry of Shahid and Kareena. But fans will be in for some disappointment as the duo will not promote the film together. The ex-jodi will be seen on screen again in Milenge Milenge but there will be no milaap in them for the promotion of the film.

Whilst Shahid Kapoor has been nothing but accommodating when it comes to working with Bebo, it was producer Boney Kapoor who chose to step in and assemble separate promotion schedules. When probed, Boney tactfully replied that it was so that the movie could receive double the coverage, in a way gathering independently all of Shahid's and Bebo's fans.

In actuality, the producer reportedly wishes to avoid Kareena - who is in a committed relationship with Saif - any awkwardness and embarrassment. While it's no doubt a wise decision on behalf of Boney Kapoor, fans will unfortunately have to wait until April to see the Shahid and Kareena in, what has promised to be, their most romantic movie yet!

Going into the details, Firdous Lawns, a top textile brand from Pakistan has chosen Kareena Kapoor as their brand ambassador to feature in company’s advertisements and bill boards. As per Firdous Lawns, the company has paid the Bollywood queen a whopping amount of 30 million rupees. Kareena Kapoor is going to model different designs and dresses for the company. The textile company is confident about the huge business it can make as Kareena Kapoor is adored in Pakistan. The company representative said "There is nothing illegal about it. We made her an offer for the campaign and she liked the idea of advertising for a Pakistani company and she came down to Dubai for the shoots,"

The representative also told that Kareena Kapoor is very much interested in taking this offer as she was advertizing for a Pakistani brand for the first time. So we just have to wait and see how Kareena Kapoor’s charm as a brand ambassador can work in Pakistan. We wonder what Bal Thackerey will have to say about Kareena's daring decision now. How will the saffron Sena curb her from shooting for a Pakistani brand.

The new rage of this weekend is LSD, Love Sex aur Dhokha. The film is not only good but also bold and in a way refreshing. It has tried to break away from the mundane story lines and has given its audience a movie that is sexy, straight and direct. If you liked Dev D, then this film will leave you floored. And an important aspect of its success is its groovy and foot tapping music. All the numbers are groovy and hummable and above all extremely inviting. No doubt a woman contributes to the success of a man just as Sneha Khanwalkar the young, unstoppable and the only female music director to be working in Bollywood teams up with Dibakar Banerjee to give us something that we have all been waiting for.

The groovy promo track of Love Sex Aur Dhokha began buzzing in your head as soon as it was aired on the small screen. The infectious tune, its peppy rhythm and not to forget the unapologetically bold lyrics make the song a musical gem. The songs had to be just apt and cheeky. So kudos to Sneha who mixed all the right ingredients to bring us some of the peppiest tracks that we have ever heard.


The LSD Title Track is nothing less than rocking!. Crooned by Kailash Kher and with lyrics like Kat Ke rakh dunga jo tune chhoone se roka, the track catches your fancy in the first go. And don’t forget to keep a tab on your kids because you never know when its gripping tune will fascinate their inquisitive minds. The remix version crooned by singer Nagarjuna is a bit haunting. Not bad at all. Tainu TV Pe Vekhya is not only a terrific rustic song but also takes a dig at today’s TV reality shows. And the lyrics verily expose the sham of reality shows. Unlike any other situational track, the song bowls you over.

Sneha belts out another number I Can’t Hold It Longer which is like Rihanna’s ‘Russian Roulette’ number which is rated ‘R’. Why? The song has used the FO abbreviation very cleverly. And what makes this song a potential hit is its retro-rustic flavor. Sneha has experimented with every genre and she has shown with this song what she is capable of. The song is one of the best numbers we have lately heard. Mohabbat Bollywood Style will make you feel how stupidly love is shown in Bollywood and as the movie also shuns and perhaps even scorns the clichéd idea of ‘true, eternal love’ through its contemporary take on relationships, the song does impress you. Sung by Nihira Joshi and Amey Date, the song is in a way a mockery of romantic films made in Bollywood. There is also a mention of Adi Chopra in the song.

Now comes the most controversial track - Tu Gandi Acchi Lagti Hai which successfully depicts the man’s basic need of sex. The somber tone and the serious music of the song makes it a number not for all times, and yes it is also a situational track. The album has two bonus songs, Kailash Kher’s Tauba Tauba which again makes an entry to the album. Do I need to say anything about this already-hit number? And then there is Na Batati Tu, a fusion of the classical music and contemporary soft rock. The song again proves that there is no match to Kailash Kher’s vocals.


As we come to the end, words become really insignificant to express one’s adulation for the path-breaking music of the album. For many, the songs may sound absurd, but shouldn’t the newage cinema offer different music from the quintessential Bollywood stuff? For that Sneha is here and surely she will have more such surprises for us.

There has hardly been a boy who has not falen in love with the dusky and doe-eyed glamour girl Bipasha Basu. People have also fantasized about her day and night. But there is only one boy who has loved Bipasha even when she in non-existent. This is true and happens in Bipasha's next film, Pankh. Here she will don the garb of nine different characters and inspite of that will remain only an imagination for the protagonist Maradona.

In Bipasha's words, "It is about a boy who goes through gender confusion. He is a child artiste but plays a female child artiste and is very popular. Then he grows up and wants to be launched as a hero but there is a kind of confusion in his mind. The boy’s family is poor and they want to make it big. The pressure of parents and ridicule make it a very sad situation for him. Eventually he creates this imaginary character he is in love with. And that imaginary character happens to be an actress as well. It is quite a crazy role and many would say why Bipasha has done it, but I like it so I do it." Well how crazy the role is and how well she manages to be the imaginary muse of a guy will only come to light when the film releases this April.

But Bipasha's looks are in discussion. She will be seen in nine different get ups in this film that has been directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay. Bipasha is working closely with costume designers, Rocky S. and Gavin Miguel for her looks in the film. Sudipto revealed that she even came up with a reference to Jennifer Lopez for one of her avatars. He added that her nine looks will be the things to watch out for once the film is released. Sudipto has also fashioned two of her nine looks based on two Hollywood divas, Sophia Loren and Liza Minelli in Cabaret.


Many are drawing a comparison of the nine avatars with Priyanka Chopra's film, What's Your Rashee. But we wish that Pankh does not die a swan's death like the flop flick. It is good to see that Bips is trying her hands in roles that need brains and she definitely will be the new diva to have the brain and brawn!!!
